Jeff died of a brain tumor at the age of 44. He was survived by his mother, brother and sister. Jim Quinn tells us that "Zah" was a great guy, willing to help a buddy out in any way that he could. He was something of a workaholic but he was also a huge fan of the Timberwolves. In fact, he was visited by a few Timberwolves players shortly before he died. According to Jim, Jeff woke up briefly when they stopped by his room and then passed away quietly shortly after they left his room. Jeff will be dearly missed.
